A prayer for Newtown, Connecticut!

Somewhere tonight near Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Connecticut, a candle is burning. It burns for not one, but twenty children whose lives were tragically cut short so close to Christmas. A time for peace and love and family… but not for them.

For those little angels and the teachers gunned down with them, there is no happy holidays.

As this candle burns, pray for the families whose grief burns just as bright.

And the Angel said to them, his voice gentle and full of compassion.

“Do not weep, there is no need for I will gather into my arms your children and carry them safely home to my father.

He will bless them and make them angels and they will sing forever songs of joy and peace in his house.”

The Angel spread his great wings and rose and the souls of the children rose with him and were gone.
