Are Rob and Kristen doing a movie together?

Earsucker.com (dated March 30 2012) asks the question – Are Twilight co-stars and real life couple Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart gearing up to do a new movie together? It could happen!

They didn’t get racy enough for their intimate scene in Breaking Dawn, but they might get their chance if they sign on for the new erotic movie, Fifty Shades Of Grey.

Will they take the opportunity to star together in the movie? They should, if they want to trash the good couple image that they’ve garnered as a result of doing Twilight!

Rob has apparently been talking to producers about the movie adaptation.

Kristen said in a new interview, “It’s so funny – I heard about it yesterday. Rob and Wyck our producer, were talking about it! I’ve heard it’s quite sexy – very titillating.”

When asked if she has ever read the book, she said, “Hell yeah!”

“50 Shades of Grey” is written by British author, E.L. James (a pseudonym) and by all accounts is a steamy read. E.L. James, has scored a reported seven-figure publishing deal, a movie deal and has already been on all the big bestseller lists. And yes, she was interviewed by TIME magazine. Not bad for a woman whose first published work was posted on the Internet and starred characters known as Bella Swan and Edward Cullen. She has changed the names of her characters — now they’re Anastasia Steele and Christian Grey — and in 50 Shades of Grey and its sequels 50 Shades Darker and 50 Shades Freed they bear only passing resemblance to the Twilight couple.

The author will retain the right to approve the script for the movie and the choice of the two leads, college student Anastasia Steele and Christian Grey, a young billionaire. The prospect of a “Grey” movie had many studios competing for rights to the novel before Focus Features and Universal Pictures won out.

“Like so many readers all over the globe, we’ve fallen in love with ‘Fifty Shades of Grey’,” Universal Pictures chairman Adam Fogelson and Universal co-chairman Donna Langley said in a joint statement. “It’s a special story and working with Focus, we hope to bring audiences a film they can enjoy as much as they loved the book.”

Saoirse Ronan in The Host!

Irish actress Saoirse Ronan (Pronounced say-er-sheh) will star in the movie adaptation of Stephenie Meyer’s book The Host and I for one can’t wait to see that.

Director Andrew Niccol has stated that the movie will actually be a three movie franchise – no doubt an attempt to milk the Twi army for all their worth as The Twilight Saga proved to be very lucrative for Summit Entertainment and now Lionsgate.

I also don’t doubt that Mr. Niccol will be given every assistance in making this movie a huge success and geared towards the fans that so loyally supported the Twilight Saga. Any why not! Here’s a cool still of Saoirse as the main character.

Kristen and Taylor win Kids Choice Awards!

Our very own Twilight stars Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner were victorious at last night’s 2012 Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards.

Kristen won the orange blimp for “Favorite Movie Actress,” while Lautner won for “Favorite Buttkicker.”

During her acceptance speech, Kristen Stewart said, “You guys! Thank you so much. I really mean that, really, thank you. This is like the coolest award show ever, I’ve never been here before this is so much better than the rest.” She also gave a little shout out to her favorite old Nickelodeon shows, saying, “I love Nickelodeon. I like Doug, Rocko’s Modern Life.”

Lautner, meanwhile, thanked his fans and Nickelodeon for their “tremendous support” over the years, and then host Will Smith asked him to do a thousand push-ups. After he completed his task (or, at least it seemed that way for the cameras), he got majorly slimed.
